By accessing or using the website of Arica Marine Solutions Private Limited ("Arica Marine," "we," "us," or "our"), registering as a seafarer, or engaging any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.
2. Description of Services
Arica Marine provides maritime recruitment and crew placement, merchant navy career guidance, and visa and travel documentation guidance for seafarers and shipping companies. Service availability, scope, and timelines may vary based on rank, certification, and vacancy availability, and are not guaranteed for any specific outcome.
3. Eligibility & Registration
To register for placement or career guidance, you must hold valid, genuine maritime certificates and documentation applicable to your rank, and meet the minimum age and eligibility requirements under applicable maritime employment law. You are responsible for keeping your registered information accurate and up to date.
4. User Conduct & Accurate Information
You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information when registering, applying for placement, or requesting guidance. Submitting forged, altered, or misleading certificates or documents is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of services and reporting to relevant maritime authorities.
5. No Placement Fees to Seafarers
In accordance with applicable recruitment and placement regulations under the Merchant Shipping Act, Arica Marine does not charge seafarers a fee for registration or placement. Any legitimate service charges, where applicable, will be communicated transparently in advance.
6. Third-Party Employers & Partners
Arica Marine facilitates connections between seafarers and independent shipping companies, ship managers, and manning partners. We are not the employer of record for placed seafarers, and the terms of employment, wages, and onboard conditions are governed by the contract between the seafarer and the respective employer. While we vet our manning partners, we cannot guarantee the conduct of third-party employers once employment commences.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of Arica Marine Solutions Private Limited or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
Arica Marine provides recruitment, guidance, and documentation support on a reasonable-efforts basis and does not guarantee employment, visa approval, or certification outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arica Marine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services, including delays or denials by third-party employers, embassies, or regulatory authorities.
