Founded on the Deck, Not in a Boardroom
Arica Marine Solutions was started by a small group of merchant navy officers who had each, at some point in their careers, struggled to find recruitment and certification guidance they could actually trust. Too often, agents cared more about closing a placement than about whether it was the right placement.
We set out to build something different: a maritime services company where every recommendation is filtered through one question — would we tell this to a fellow officer we personally knew? That principle still shapes every conversation our team has today, whether with a first-time cadet or a ship manager filling a senior post.
Today, Arica Marine works with shipping companies, ship managers, and individual seafarers across India, the Middle East, Singapore, the UK, and Europe — but the standard hasn't changed since our first placement.
